About the speed of palm readings

An interesting question about palm reading

Today, I’d like to answer an interesting question I was asked recently.

The other day, a female customer asked me during a reading,
“When you read someone’s palm, about how many minutes does it take for you to predict when they’ll get married,

and things like that?”
It seemed she was asking this because she wanted to know,
“Is it possible to book a 30-minute session for three single people?”
She wanted to know if I could read a person’s palm in 10 minutes.

Since this is a question I don’t get very often, I thought I’d answer it today.

To be perfectly clear—yes, I absolutely can!

A 30-minute session for three people is very much possible.

I try to be flexible and accommodate a variety of requests in my palm readings.
However,
if you are someone who wants to receive more substantial advice on how to get married, or what measures you should take,
I recommend you come in for the full 30 minutes.

In reality, there are a lot of people who come in pairs or in groups of three for a 30-minute session.
What I’m trying to say is that it’s perfectly possible to do a 10-minute palm reading for each person in the group.
I try to meet a variety of requests so I can accommodate groups of any size.

I even have some advanced tricks in my arsenal

This happened over a decade ago.
One day, I visited a printing factory to meet with the president there about my new book.

At the time, this printing company was printing several of my books, so I went there to discuss my new book.

On my way to the president’s office, deep inside the factory, I ran into the two staff members responsible for producing my books, both of whom I had only ever spoken to on the phone.

One was K (29-year old male), who handled the binding and printing of my books, and the other was F (26-year old female), who handled the binding and editing.
As a greeting and way of thanking them, I read each of their palms very quickly, for about a minute each.

A quick palm reading

“K, you’ll get married at 30. You’re going to meet your person very soon.”
“F, you’ll marry in the latter half of your 26th year. Quite soon.”
I did this quick reading for the two of them, then headed to the president’s office
for our meeting.

After the meeting with the president, I went home for the day.

A year later, I received a call from K!

About a year later, I got a call from K.
And he told me what had happened after the palm reading.

“Sensei, you told me I’d get married at 30, and you were right!
I met someone just like you said, and I got married recently at 30.
And F, the one whose palm you also read, she got engaged recently, and she’ll be married at the age you said.
Thank you so much!”

He sounded so happy, it made me happy too.

Many future events can be read instantly

When looking at a person’s marriage fortune, I look at six different signs (taught in my palm reading school).
However, not everyone has all of these signs clearly visible on their palms.
Sometimes lines are faint, or distorted, or are a shape that is easy to miss.
So much variation.
(But after seeing so many examples, you start to recognize them.)

I can’t guarantee that I can read everyone’s future in a single minute, like I did in the story above.
But give me several minutes, and I’ll know.

How many people coming in for a 30-minute session!?

In practice, about half of the customers in my palm reading practice
come in on their own.
The other half come in
as couples, family members, or friends, and share the 30 minutes between two or three people.

Sometimes I’ll even see groups of four for a single 30-minute session.
There are also quite a lot of cases where two family members will come in,
and ask me to read the palms of two other family members through photos (total of four readings).

As long as it is within the 30-minute session, the price is the same regardless of how many people come in—so please free to use the time however works for you.

Should I arrive 10-15 minutes before the session?

Another question
I often get is, “What time should I arrive on the day of my appointment?”

We provide drinks in the waiting room, so if you come about 15 minutes early, you can relax and have something to drink.

While you wait, you can also peruse the books and magazine articles I’ve written that are displayed in the room, or use the restroom.
In reality, though, many people arrive right at the time of their appointment.

It is best to come 10 minutes early if you are bringing someone else

We prepare a palm reading sheet for the person who makes the appointment.
But if you are bringing someone whose information we didn’t receive beforehand,
we will need about five minutes before the session to prepare their report
(birth date, address, etc.).
If you arrive about 10 minutes before your session, it will be very helpful for the reception staff.

Of course, we’ll do our best to accommodate you no matter what time you arrive, so please feel free to come at a time that’s convenient for you.
*Please don’t worry,
as your session will last 30 minutes from the actual start time, even if it starts past the time of your appointment.

Today, I answered a variety of questions.
Currently, I offer palm readings in my palm reading offices in Tokyo (Koenji) and Kyoto (Gojo).
I look forward to meeting all of you.
