A new client, A, who works in fortune-telling
I would like to tell you about a palm reading client I had today, A (38 years old).
A works in the fortune-telling industry (not as a fortune-teller) but had been having some doubts about her own life, and had come to me for a palm reading.
Someone who works in the fortune-telling industry would no doubt know many fortune-tellers. A told me, however, that she had come to get a palm reading from me for the following reason.
A mentioned a passage she had read in a book recently by author Natsuki Matsui (51-year-old woman).
“I’ve gone and had my fortune read through 13 different methods, each by fortune-tellers famous in their fields. Looking back now, I see that the one that was the most accurate was palm reading. The palm reading session Yasuto Nishitani did for me was the most accurate of them all.”
Natsuki Matsui’s story also showed up in an email I received about 10 years ago from fortune-teller K. The following is K’s email.
Email from fortune-teller K
“Changing the topic a bit, but one of my friends that I’m studying astrology with is an author by the name of Natsuki Matsui. She told me she went to a palm reading session with you 20 years ago, that you’d told her a lot of things about her work, and that they had all happened exactly as you said they would.
Matsui is now 40 years old and mother to three sons. Her book, Warau Shussan (“The Comedy of Giving Birth”) became a best-seller when she was 30-31 years old. Her book is still doing very well overseas, and has sold a total of over 650,000 copies.
During the palm reading, you told her that she would release a number of books in the coming years, and that she would achieve great success at 30. She told me she believed what you said, and that was what kept her going even as she struggled financially to raise her kids.”
Email from Matsui
Here is the email I received from Natsuki Matsui herself.
“The palm reading you did for me was the first time in my life I ever paid money to have my fortune read for real. It’s been 20 years since then. The things that you said would happen, almost all happened exactly the way you said they would. To the point where it was almost scary.”
(Miraiyochi wa Dekiru [“Future Prediction Is Possible”] <by Yasuto Nishitani/Sobunsha>)
When I did the palm reading for Matsui, she was only 20 years old. She was just a regular girl, and had not yet written a single book. This girl had gone on to become a best-selling author, just as I had foretold in her palm reading.
This was today’s little palm reading anecdote.
